In order to bring greater welfare to the greatest number, since their origins the Mousquetaires have chosen to act as closely as possible to consumers, listening to their needs and being responsive to their expectations. And to achieve this they have succeeded in adapting their stores and tying permanent links with the SMEs which make up the local economic fabric.
Nearly 4,000 stores in Europe
The proximity of the Mousquetaires takes concrete shape on the ground with the presence in France of one store every 17 kilometres. The Mousquetaires’ ambition is always to be close to their customers, even in the most rural areas.

Stores on a human scale
The number and locations of the stores go hand in hand with their size and organisation.
In order to retain a certain user-friendliness, the stores cover an area of between 300 and 6,500 square metres. They offer a choice of products suited to consumers and their demand: own brands, national brands and low price ranges.
And to attract customers, the Mousquetaires have designed store concepts which encourage proximity and service to complete the product offering: with cash dispensers, photo booths, photocopiers, loyalty cards, alterations to goods or reservations, etc., all within the heart of the Mousquetaires supermarkets, where the Group’s store chains complement each other to offer consumers everything they need.
