AMHI



The Association des Mousquetaires pour les Handicapés et leur Insertion or AMHI [the Mousquetaires Association for People with Handicaps and their Integration] was created in 1992. The association researches and develops solutions to encourage the welcoming, professional and social integration of people with handicaps by the Mousquetaires.

Its activities relate to training for people with handicaps in the distribution professions. 

After having identified professions which could be suitable for people with handicaps, the AMHI created ad hoc training courses together with Fordis, the Mousquetaires’ training body, in partnership with AGEFIPH (the French private association in the service of people with handicaps and companies).

For members who wish to integrate people with handicaps in their teams, the AMHI provides advice and can point business managers in the direction of a network of partners.

In the school year 2006/2007, 245 people with handicaps on further education training placements were trained by Fordis.
