Entrepreneurship has always been vital to the Mousquetaires, and today, more than ever, it is a driver of excellence, a fundamental value, a daily commitment proclaimed by each head of business of the Group. Fondation Le Roch-Les Mousquetaires was created in 1998 at the initiative of Jean-Pierre and Marie-Thérèse Le Roch and members of Groupement Les Mousquetaires and contributes enthusiastically to promoting this ambition.

Convinced, as its Chairwoman stated, “that humanism, proximity and performance are the pillars of a future-oriented societal commitment”, the Foundation works to support and defend this state of mind.  How? By providing concrete aid to those promoting daring and innovative projects. 

By providing financial support to entrepreneurs throughout the country, Fondation Le Roch-Les Mousquetaires places Man at the heart of its priorities and develops partnerships with the Pasteur Institute and the SNSM, the National Marine Rescue Company.

Fondation Le Roch-Les Mousquetaires provides incentives to daring initiatives

Helping entrepreneurs means providing them with the financial means to carry out their projects.  In this mindset, Fondation Le Roch-Les Mousquetaires organises annual competitions, such as “Coup de Pouce” (helping hand) and “Audace” (boldness) Awards, with a prize of €250,000, to reward entrepreneurs for creating daring projects entrenched in the local area.

This prize rewards auto entrepreneurs for promising projects through financial backing. 

Organized with the UAE (Union of Auto Entrepreneurs), this contest takes place each year throughout France.  It begins in the regional capitals, where the entrepreneurs receive awards, before the final competition in Paris. 

“Coup de Pouce” contest, to help start-ups get off on the right foot

The “Coup de Pouce” contest is a business plan competition that gives start-up creators an opportunity in the beginning phase of their project, awarding every year some 30 young entrepreneurs.  The financial aid that is provided allows them to achieve decisive benchmarks throughout France as this competition concerns the entire country.

The Auto Entrepreneur Observatory, a unique tool

The local economy as well as both societal and social evolutions are key areas of focus for the Auto Entrepreneur Observatory, an annual indicator that is co-edited by Fondation Le Roch-Les Mousquetaires and the Union of Auto Entrepreneurs.  This document is based on surveys carried out by the OpinionWay Survey Institute among independent workers, heads of business, workers, young people undergoing training, etc.   The results are published and sent to the press as well as to political, economic and social players.

Man first with the Fondation Pasteur and the SNSM

Beyond entrepreneurship, Fondation Le Roch-Les Mousquetaires is committed to its partners for whom health, the civil spirit and solidarity are their raison d’être. 

The Foundation first chose to support the Pasteur Institute, in particular its research on food safety, a subject that is very important to the Mousquetaires, who strive continually to provide healthier and higher-quality products. 

Fondation Le Roch-Les Mousquetaires also supports the National Marine Rescue Company (SNSM), which plays an important role in maritime safety. 

The aim here is to provide material aid to the volunteers in the rescue stations. 

In 2017, for example, the Foundation strongly participated in the implementation of a boarding safety mechanism and alert management.
